Ingredients: Lamb mince, chicken mince, heart, liver and kidney (also minced). Organic: broccoli, carrot, beetroot, blueberries, apple, and rosemary (Finley minced) . Sweet potato (cooked). Organic: flaxseed oil, raw honey, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, golden paste (turmeric paste), seaweed meal, probiotics. All locally sourced from Queensland.

500g size = plastic tubs

2kg size = cryovac sealed bags

Cairns & Atherton Tablelands Deliveries

We offer next day delivery in Cairns from Monday to Friday. (if we are unable to do this you will be notified by text or email) and your delivery will be rescheduled to another day. Unfortunately we cannot accomodate specific times of day for delivery. Please leave out an esky with ice if you are not going to be home as the raw dog food and bones are delivered frozen, or place your order the day before when you know someone will be home. No home deliveries on public holidays.

Drool Pet Co. deliver every Thursday to Stratford, Aeroglen, Redlynch, Smithfield (and surrounding suburbs either side), the northern beaches (Machans Beach, Holloways Beach, Yourkeys Knob, Trinity Park, Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach & Palm Cove). In addition, we make monthly deliveries to the Atherton Tablelands, the first week of the month on the Wednesday. Moreover, be sure to check on facebook & Instagram for these delivery schedules. Our raw dog food food arrives at your door right when you need it. No reminders needed, no trips to the store. Food is made fresh and immediately snap frozen to preserve quality and nutrition naturally. Our convenient 500g containers are freezer safe so the do not split or shatter leaving plastic shards in the food. In our Cairns climate we do ask customers to leave out an esky with ice if you are not home for the delivery. Also, to cut down the impact on our environment and avoid using polystyrene. Prices are subject to change at any time.

How much should i feed?

A typical adult dog should consume 2-3% of their body weight per day. This percentage should be calculated using your dog’s size, activity level and overall health.

Adult Dogs

The recommended amount for raw feeding a healthy, adult dog is 2-3% of their body weight per day.

It is generally recommended to feed adult dogs a smaller meal twice per day, rather than one large feeding. As with humans, it is commonly thought that this supports better functioning of the dog’s metabolism and digestive system.

Puppies

Puppies have increased nutritional needs to meet the demands of their growing bodies. Puppies under 12 months of age should be fed approximately 5% of their body weight per day.

Divide the total daily allowance of our raw dog food into 3 meals for puppies under 6 months of age; and into 2 meals for puppies aged from 6 months onwards.

How to calculate

To work out your dog’s daily feeding requirement, multiply their weight by 2-3%, or 5% for puppies. For example, to work out what to feed my 5.6kg Cavalier, if working on a ratio of 3% of her body weight:

5.6kg x 0.03 (3%) = 0.168

This means I would feed her 168 grams per day, divided into 2 meals of 84 grams each.
